About Us

At Gone.com, we believe in unlocking hidden value in the everyday items we no longer use. In American homes alone, there’s over half a trillion dollars worth of unused goods gathering dust, and it’s time we changed that. With over $590 billion in unused goods—$4,500 worth per household across 131 million households—we aim to make extracting value easier and faster for you.

The overall recommerce market is growing more than four times faster than the traditional retail industry, highlighting the growing demand for sustainable, circular solutions. Yet, decluttering and redistributing unused items remains time-consuming and inefficient, especially when you have a lot to clear out quickly. That’s where we come in. gone.com reimagines the process, helping people quickly, efficiently, and profitably rid their homes of excess goods.

Our Vision

Building a Preference for Recommerce Supply Chain

The global shift towards recommerce, where repurposing becomes the industry standard, is driving us forward. We’re fostering a circular economy by offering convenient, customer-focused, and elevated services that make it easier than ever to give new life to gently used items.

Our Mission

Unlocking Value While Minimizing Environmental Impact

Our technology reimagines the entire landscape of consumer goods by providing a turnkey system to manage the removal and redistribution operations of stagnant, gently used items. Together with our partners, we are solving for the need to drive preference for recommerce and reduce waste in our local neighborhoods.

Macro Trends Shaping Our Mission:

  • 25% of U.S. households with a 2-car garage can’t park their cars inside due to clutter.
  • 10% of the U.S. population rents storage units. Despite our homes being 30% larger than in the 1950s, family sizes are shrinking.
  • The average American now moves 7 times in their lifetime, often accumulating more things along the way.
  • Baby boomers, totaling 72 million people, are downsizing and faced with managing large collections of possessions.

Gone.com is driven to solve these challenges by creating a seamless system that allows you to reclaim the value in your items while minimizing waste. Together with our partners, we are reshaping the landscape of consumer goods and supporting a more sustainable, recommerce-driven future.
